About Us

To begin our calling.

LeAnn

I have known and served the Lord for many years now. Ever since I was a child, I’ve wanted to be a missionary. I grew up listening to and reading stories about missionaries, attending missions conferences, serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship, and longing for the day I could finally go on the mission field. After high school I took a gap year in Costa Rica, where I studied Spanish and attended Bible classes. While I was in Costa Rica, I found out about a children’s home in Mexico.

I served at Grace Children’s Home’s Nursery, first as an intern, then full time as the intern coordinator and codirector of the nursery, where I cared for little ones ages 0-5 and poured into the young women who came to serve as interns. After 5 years serving at the Children’s Home, the Lord led me to serve full time in children’s ministry at a local bilingual church in Rosarito.
A few years later, while serving in children’s ministry, I met my now-husband, Christian. Since getting married, we continue to serve the Lord together as missionaries.

Christian.

It was a December night in 2020. Christmas carols echoed through the streets. The festive spirit and above all, the smell of food, could still be felt in the air. It was on Christmas Eve, or rather, during that Christmas week, that the Lord reached out to me. I can honestly say that I wasn’t looking for Him, but He found me and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime: to follow Him, to be saved, and to give my life to Him. That moment I began my journey with Him. I started serving in my local church’s children’s ministry which, if you had known me, you would have realized that was a miracle from the Lord. (or if you could just get in touch with my mother, she’d tell you, but getting back to the point) The Lord showed me what His love was like by loving those children and being loved by them as well. After all, there’s nothing better than serving the little ones. It was while serving in children’s ministry that I met my now-wife, LeAnn, a missionary from the U.S., and the Lord used her to cause me to fall in love with missions. I received training from my church, taking classes on church planting and participating in Doulos ministry training.

Our Journey

After serving the Lord at the bilingual church in Rosarito, both as singles and as a married couple, the Lord called us to go support one of our church plants in the neighboring city of Tijuana. After much prayer we felt that it was the Lord’s will to come alongside and assist the pastor of the church plant. We were sent out of our church in Rosarito at the end of the year, during Christmas week. Since January 2026, we have enjoyed this new adventure at the Playas de Tijuana church. (And it is worth mentioning that the pastor of this church is the very same man who married us—a great man and servant of God, as well as a dear friend of ours.)

Christian serves as a translator, leads the youth group, helps in the men’s study, preaches on occasion, and disciples men in the church. LeAnn leads the children’s ministry and disciples women in the church.

What Drives Us

Our greatest motivation is to glorify the Lord by spreading the gospel and serving His people, and one day, when we come into His presence, to hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant…” (Matthew 25:23)

Our Vision

What we long for most is to see the children and youth of Mexico grow up knowing God—not just knowing who He is, but having a personal relationship with Him as their Father. One of the main ways we focus our efforts—and the church’s as well—is to reach out to parents as well as their children and help families grow as Christians.
